Let’s face it … you’re a rotten person. Oh, you try to do good things, but you fail in thought, word and deed.
Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart is
deceitful above all things and beyond cure.
You’ve got a problem: sin.
Romans 3:23 - for all have sinned
and fall short of the glory of God
Your sin separates you from the
Creator God
Leviticus 19:2 - Be holy because
I, the LORD your God, am holy.
Good news …
We can do nothing to reconcile
ourselves with God; however, God himself provided the reconciliation – the perfect
life, death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus the Christ.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the
world that he gave his one of a kind Son, that whoever believes in him shall
not perish but have eternal life.
There’s only one way to
reconciliation with the Creator of the Universe – the God-man Jesus
John 14:6 – Jesus answered,
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through me.”
