The "P" in P70 stood for portable, but the machine was usually called the "luggable" because of its weight (about 20 lbs). The P70 came in 16 Mhz and 20 Mhz models, and contained either a 30, 60, or 120 MB hard disk. It contains a standard-size PC motherboard, but because of its "small" case, it can only accomodate two half-length expansion boards. Because of the plasma display (which drew a lot of power), the P70 could not run on batteries.
Interesting historical fact: Since the display is plasma (essentially a complex neon lamp), it is one of the few "modern" computers which contains a vacuum tube.
