The Computer Science department hosted its second annual Tech Camp for relatives of CUW faculty and staff.
The week-long event was a huge success, with over 30 campers in attendance to learn about LittleBits, robotics, and Virtual Reality programming. From Ozobots to Mindstorms, 3D printing to the Oculus Rift, campers were introduced to a wide range of cutting-edge technology for both entertainment and service. How can we best serve our neighbor through our God-given vocations of technologist and inventor? Campers learned that while humans can sub-create some amazing things, God is the one who created us: “For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God” (Hebrews 3:4).
Many thanks to the volunteers who made this camp possible. We’re already looking forward to next year’s camp. Check out our Facebook page for photos!
